The Joint Transnational Master in Renewable Energy Studies Program "ADRION Joint Transnational Master in Renewable Energy" will contribute to the development of the Renewable Energy sector in the Adriatic-Ionian region by promoting a sustainable energy transition. The creation of the Joint Transnational Master in Renewable Energy Studies Program, combined with the contribution of different stakeholders, aims to unlock the full potential of Renewable Energy Sources (RES) in all participating countries, which are, in addition to Greece, Italy, Croatia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia
The Programme plays a significant role in establishing the foundation for increased cooperation between the EU and IPA countries and shows a collective effort to promote sustainable development and renewable energy adoption, benefiting both regions and contributing to a greener future. It aims to foster a cultural and mental shift towards renewable energy adoption, addressing challenges and maximizing benefits through parallel strategies such as technology development, academic research, capacity building and policy design.
The ADRION Joint Transnational Master Programme in Renewable Energy acknowledges significant interest in renewable energy topics among the countries in the Adriatic-Ionian region. It focuses on actively involving and enhancing the skills of various stakeholders aiming to bolster the support for the energy transition and improve the operations of businesses, academia, and civil society in the region. The project facilitates and promotes the energy transition by creating a joint master’s degree program focused on renewable energy.
The Programme vision is to transform the renewable energy sector in the Adriatic-Ionian region by fostering a sustainable energy transition. Through the creation of a Joint Transnational Master Programme in Renewable Energy and the engagement of different stakeholders, the program aims to unlock the full potential of renewable energy in all partnering countries.
